The device can be used both as a rehabilitation support and to restore functionality to a limb that has completely lost its strength. This exoskeleton has the function of rehabilitator-enabler that can be used by the wearer in complete autonomy. Furthermore, it has been designed to be portable and light - it weighs only 650 grams and is worn like a glove. It represents a device, capable of supporting people affected by stroke and hemiparesis in the recovery of hand functions. In conclusion, the innovative features can be summarized in general in the optimization of the use of low-cost resources, which they can

then be transferred to the industrial system for the production of advanced devices at competitive costs and more sustainable by the health system and by patients, thus widening the number of potential users. The beneficiaries of the initiative will therefore not only be the users, but also the Italian industry in the prosthetic and rehabilitation sector.
