The 3D prototype of the field will be a support to studies and public consultations required by existing legislation for the projects and the concession of subsoil exploitation and at the same time can be the tool for opening and transparency of the Oil&gas Company towards all stakeholders. 
The 3D representation of hydrocarbon reservoir, along with a public scientific debate, will help all the stakeholders to share knowledge and to acquire awareness about the hydrocarbon exploration. 
It could helps the dissemination and popularization of “public awareness” technology and ensure the “public acceptance” of most of those projects and investments in Italian places.

Paolo de Filippis graduated with honors in Chemical Engineering at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" in 1988. From 1991 to 2000 he was a university researcher at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Rome "La Sapienza" in the department of Chemical Engineering, Environmental Materials since 2000 he is associate professor of Chemical Engineering (SSD ING-IND / 27).

The research activity, carried out in part at international research institutes (IFP, University of Wyoming, Western Research Institute) involved the study of processes for the production of synthesis gas and hydrogen through gasification with oxygen / air and steam, processes pyrolysis and reforming with coal steam, biomass and waste both urban and industrial. Other research topics developed concerned problems connected with the use of heavy oil residues, oxidation processes with oxygenated water.

As part of his work he has carried out numerous collaborations and consultancies for oil companies, national and international research institutes and engineering companies.

The most applied aspects of scientific and research activity, often developed in collaboration with research institutes and national and international industrial groups, are witnessed by the over 10 national and international patents, the majority of which are developed in collaboration with public or private companies.

He is the author of over 100 publications, many of them in international journals.
