DISCOVERING GOOD BACTERIA!!

the workshop, which takes about 40 minutes, aims to bring school children (6-13 years) closer to the study of microbiology and the life forms invisible to the naked eye.
The workshop will include a theoretical-practical activity to introduce participants to the fundamental concepts and applications of microbiology, with reference to the activities and properties of prokaryotic microorganisms.
the activities will include:
illustration of the structural and functional characteristics of microorganisms, their ecological role and their applications in the biotechnological field.
illustration of the basic techniques for the cultivation of microorganisms in the laboratory.
sampling from environments and surfaces
preparation of bacterial suspensions and streaks on solid microbiological media.
stereomicroscope observation of bacterial colonies of microorganisms
It must be specified that all the microorganisms treated are NOT pathogenic or in some way dangerous for health.
