REGENERATE T37
The concept of circular economy has always been realized in WASP also through the recycling of plastic. The WASP Hortus project, the Wind Turbine and other applications, are some examples of how plastic can be collected, divided by families, minced and printed, to create new useful products. At the Maker Faire 2019 WASP will present the complete process that, from the recovered plastic, through some passages, will develop up to obtain wind turbines to generate electricity.
The material used is 100% recycled Polypropylene, in pellet. The technology is that of 3D printing with Delta WASP 3MT Industrial 4.0 with pellet extruder, equipped with a pneumatic continuous feeding system of the material to be printed.
In summary, the message we want to give with this presentation is: "From Waste to Energy", to make visitors, including children and students, aware of the issue of conscious use and useful reuse of plastic.
The WASP stand will also be furnished with 3D printed design elements with 100% recycled Polypropylene.

WASP Team

CSP (Centro Sviluppo Progetti) was born in 2003 as a result of the company’s founder Massimo Moretti’s experience in the fields of electronic and mechanical engineering. In 2012 we created WASP (World’s Advanced Saving Project). The project is based on the 3D printing development, an open source field with the aim of spreading knowledge and technological tools. WASP makes professional 3D printers with the purpose of promoting the idea of sustainable development and the maker culture. The proceeds from the 3D printers sales are invested in new research and projects.
