CNR4all - Internet of Energy – Education & Qualification
This workshop represents a multiplier event of the Erasmus+ project Internet of Energy – Education and Qualification. The workshop aims to make all the potential IoE stakeholders aware of this technology and to give an idea about the design and management of the IoE technology in Europe. The workshop starts presenting an assessment of the training needs and of the labour market at European level, with reference to the IoE sector, stating the existing and ideal skills to be acquired. The activities described in the workshop are the basis for designing VET qualifications, designed according to the Lifelong Learning instruments (EQF, EQVET and EQAVET) and the recent e-Competence Framework 3.0. This guarantees a European dimension of the qualifications and ensures the recognition and transfer of the acquired competences.
- Analysis of the training needs and of the professional skills related to IoE technologies and applications;
- Design of VET Qualifications in the area of IoE, according to the e-CF 3.0 framework;
- Realization of IoE didactic demonstrators, deployed as virtual and/or remote laboratories;
- Periodical webinars on IoE related topic;
- Production and delivery of training courses aimed at achieving the VET Qualifications;
- Realization of an IoE Handbook, including best practices and suggestions for the adoption of IoE based devices and applications;
- Implementation of an integrated.

Ottorino Veneri e Clemente Capasso
Ottorino Veneri graduated in Electrical Engineering from the University of Naples 'Federico II' in 1996. By the same University in March 2000 he has been awarded his PhD in Electrical Engineering. From 1999 to 2001 he had a research grant provided by the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of Naples 'Federico II'. Since 2002 he works as a researcher with the Istituto Motori of the National Research Council (CNR) of Italy in Naples. In recent years he has also become Full Professor at the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO. His main fields of interest are the electric drives for transportation systems, electric energy converters, electric energy storage systems, power sources with hydrogen fuel cells and hybrid propulsion architecture. He is co-author of 1 book published by Springer, 2 chapters of books and more than 50 papers published in International Journals and in proceedings of conferences. He is reviewer of various International Journals that publish material in the area of energy and power conversion, and technical reviewer of Italian Research and Development Projects. He is director of operative units at Istituto Motori within more than 10 Research National and International Projects.
Clemente Capasso received the MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Naples 'Federico II' in 2006. By the same University in March 2015 he has been awarded his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering. Since 2010, he works as a Research Technologist with the Istituto Motori of the National Research Council (CNR) of Italy in Naples. He is involved in more than 10 research projects granted by national and international funding. His main research fields are related to charging architecture for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, experimental analysis on energy storage and conversion systems, electric propulsion and energy generation systems for naval applications. He is co-author of more than 30 papers published in International Journals and in proceedings of conferences. He is reviewer of various International Journals related to energy storage, conversion and management.
